"How do you know what she was thinking? She was whacked, stressed, and traumatized so there is no telling what she was thinking!"
Blogging with comments enabled, you better be prepared for people to question the validity of your content. But little did I expect that I would raise the hackles of a family member, who just might be a closet groupie (haha), by suggesting about what Britney Spears was thinking when she shaved her head between rehab visits.
I replied with the easy and short answer, “I don’t”, but a longer explanation is necessary so click on Read more for the rest…
I am an alcoholic, I have found that often when I remark upon the actions of others by reflecting upon my own thoughts and past behavior that people are more likely to listen. Even better, I often discover more about myself than I realized and many times it also makes them a little bit introspective. Hey, that’s why group meetings are effective right? It’s much easier to see what are and identify the problems of others, the trick is to use the opportunity to better see and repair ourselves.
Now I know I am not always right, in fact, life has beat me so severely with the stick of humility that I rarely speak in absolutes. Often in my writing you will see the warning statement or the IMHO (in my humble opinion) inclusion that means, “Hey, I’m not a professional so take this with a grain of salt.” However, you will many times see me pointing out the behavior of addicts and alcoholics that I have found to be universal among those with an addiction. I might give you my take on why we do it, or how to stop it, but I wouldn’t be a poor blogger if I had all the answers.
People are different, their environments vary, but addictions usually run a predictable course and we can benefit from realizing this. The better you are at seeing the patterns in others, the more likely we are able to help them and better avoid pitfalls in our own lives.
So I am sorry that you thought I was reading Brittney’s mind and you’re right, I don’t know what she was thinking. But my experience allows me to take an educated guess, and if you do the same and we discuss it a little while, then we might all learn something.
So get out your crystal ball, put on the Great Carnak hat, and tell me what you think was going through that pretty little head as she performed a spot-on Kojak impression.

Just my way of saying thanks - http://www.strangecosmos.com/content/item/105258.html So if we must speculate - I think she probably did it to say to the public and her family -" look what I've done - I TOLD you I am really f'd up - I need help!." "You and I can not ignore this."
